It is true that one feels lazy in winter, but it is not considered right to spoil one’s fitness goals because of this excuse. Even if your motivation decreases in this season, you can still maintain consistency in your workout by adopting some easy methods.

shift timing
If you have been working out in the morning, but don’t feel like leaving the blanket behind in the cold and working out. But to ensure that your routine does not get disturbed, it is important that you shift the timing of your workout. Instead of going to 4-5 in the morning, you should workout at 10-11 in the morning or 5-7 in the evening. When the timing is comfortable, there will be less excuses.

set small goals
Since there is no desire to work out in the cold, if you tell yourself that you have to work out for an hour, then you do not work out at all. So, set small goals to maintain your consistency in the cold. For example, you promise yourself only 10 minutes. Later, when you start working out, it automatically changes to 25-30 minutes.
keep the workout room a little warmer
This is a small tip, but it can be very useful for you. When the workout room is a little warm, working out feels comfortable. If you don’t have a room heater, wear thick socks or a light jacket. If you want, start by sipping a cup of warm water. When the body does not suffer shock, you will feel less lazy.
Choose Winter-Friendly Workouts
If you want to fully enjoy your workout during cold days, then you should choose your workout wisely. Heavy workouts seem scary in winter, so to keep yourself physically active, you can do dance workout, yoga, Pilates etc. If you enjoy it a lot, you automatically feel like working out.
