The digital medium has been quite lucky for actor Ananya Panday. After proving her versatility with Kho gaye hum kahan (2023), the star kid went on to win hearts as a South Delhi heiress turned hustler in Call Me BaeWell, Ananya is unstoppable and is now onto her next OTT project. This time, the actor will be pushing boundaries a little bit further. In the thriller film titled CTRLAnanya’s life will take a dark turn when she erases her boyfriend with the help of AI. Well, ahead of the same, Ananya has now shared a new look from the upcoming web series.
In this fun post, Ananya shared unseen behind the scene glimpses from the set of CTRL which are goofy and absolutely hilarious. The actor has donned a moustache, a wig of short hair and transformed into a man by taking inspiration from veteran star Amol Palekar. In the last picture of this photo dump, Ananya is even holding up a picture of young Amol right next to her face. This photo dump further includes photos of her dressed up as a sumo wrestler along with a funny video where Ananya is chest bumping a fellow crew member before falling to the ground.
Fans just can’t get enough of the actor in a moustache. Many are now comparing Ananya to her father Chunky Panday. In the comment section below, one social media user called her: “Mini chunky Pandey 🔥 🔥”, whereas another comment read: “Junior chunki pandey.” Giving her credit for acing the look that inspired her, an internet user claimed, “Oh damn you are looking like Amol Palekar ???.” Other fans joked that she looks less like Ananya and more like ‘Anant’, ‘Anand’ and ‘Anna Panday’.
In CTRLAnanya and her co-star Vihaan Samat will be seen as an influencer couple who break up after the latter cheats. To make her heartbreak hurt less, Ananya gives AI control of her life asking it to erase her ex. We can’t wait to witness her in this never seen before avatar when CTRL releases on October 4.
