Ghee: According to Dr. Chopra, ghee increases digestion and immunity as it is rich in vitamins A, D, E and. It also helps in strengthening bones. A person is advised to eat 1-2 teaspoons of ghee a day. People with high cholesterol or heart disease should consume limited amounts of ghee.
Coconut Oil: According to cardiologists, coconut oil is beneficial for the health of your brain and intestine. It is mainly rich in medium-chain triglycerides. MCTs are fat molecules that are found in coconut and palm kernel oil. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), MCTs break up quickly in the body, making them a quick source of energy. They are considered helpful in the treatment of better physical functions and many health problems.
Although MCTS has its own advantages, coconut oil has very high amount of saturated fat. Consuming highly saturated fat can increase the level of ‘poor’ cholesterol (LDL) in the blood, which can increase the risk of heart disease. Therefore, it is advisable to use it in limited quantities.
Mustard oil: According to Dr. Chopra, mustard oil is helpful in promoting heart health and reduces inflammation in the body. This can be a great option for your heart. It is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for heart health.
Crude mustard oil contains a compound called Erucic Acid, whose high amounts of which have been found to be harmful to heart health in some studies. However, processed mustard oil is generally considered safe within the range set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Make sure you use the oil that follows food safety standards.

Peanut oil: The cardiologist said that peanut oil contains healthy fats and this plant is rich in sterols. Plant sterol diet can help reduce the absorption of cholesterol, which can benefit heart health.
The doctor has warned that peanut oil is favorable for the heart only when it is used with restraint. It also has a relatively high amount of omega-6 fatty acids, and some heating it can cause some unhealthy compounds. It is better to use it for cooking at low temperatures instead of deep-frying.
