The person says that he started using social media from 2015. After which his working capacity has declined and his physical health has also deteriorated. The quality of his sleep was deteriorating. The person filed this case through a law firm named Lambert Avocats.
According to Philippe Brault of the law firm, this problem is not only of some people, but this problem is happening with all the people nowadays. The firm says that it took up this case because this problem is increasing day by day and has been going on since time immemorial. According to Philip, 52 percent of children between the ages of 7 and 11 in Canada use social media. Social media platform owners should give priority to the health and safety of their users.
The purpose of the case is to compensate the people for the loss caused by these negligently designed platforms by the companies.
