
The exam was administered across 348 centers in 187 cities, conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) from July 25 to 27, 2024.The NTA had earlier posted provisional answer keys and question papers with recorded responses on their website, allowing candidates to raise objections. . Those who contested the provisional answer key could submit their challenges by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The window for submitting challenges was from August 9 to August 11, 2024.
The final answer key is now accessible and will be used to assess responses and determine exam results. Candidates can view it on the NTA’s official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. This final key, which has been reviewed and revised as needed, will be used to generate the final exam results.

CSIR NET Final Answer Key: Key Updates on Excluded Questions and Multiple Correct Answers
According to the final answer key, one question from the Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences exam on September 25 has been excluded. Additionally, several questions from the Mathematical Sciences exam on the same day, as well as one from the Life Sciences exam on July 26 (1st shift), have been identified as having multiple correct answers.
According to the CSIR NET information bulletin, if a question is deemed incorrect, marks will be awarded only to those candidates who attempted the question. If there are multiple correct options, marks will be given to all candidates who selected at least one of the correct options, with the exception of Part C in Mathematical Sciences.
In Part C of the Mathematical Sciences section, candidates are required to identify the most accurate or best answer to each question. The NTA stated that some questions might have multiple correct answers, and candidates will receive credit only if they select all the correct options.
