The doctor has said that if the periods are delayed by 2 to 5 days then it can be normal. There is no need for you to worry about this.

According to health experts, even if your periods are late by 7 days, there is no need to panic, however, if this happens every month or is delayed by more than 10 days, then definitely consult a doctor.
There can be many reasons for delayed periods. There is a lot of stress in them. When we are under more stress, the stress hormone cortisol starts increasing and this affects ovulation. Additionally, problems like thyroid or PCOS can also make the cycle irregular.
