To make fermented rice kanji, mix two spoons of cooked rice and two spoons of curd in a glass of water. Keep it covered overnight, so that it gets fermented. Now mash it well in the morning or blend it. After this add salt to it and if you wish, you can add finely chopped green chillies and onion. Now include it in your diet, the natural bacteria present in it heal the intestinal lining and improve digestion.
Fermented Ragi Kanji
Ragi is a superfood in itself. When it is fermented, its benefits double. To make Ragi Kanji, prepare a thin solution by mixing 4 spoons of Ragi flour with half a cup of water. Then boil two cups of water in a pan and slowly add the ragi solution while stirring. Now cook on low flame for about 5 minutes. When it cools down, pour it into a glass or earthen vessel. Keep it covered overnight. Add a little salt, whey, green chilli and onion to it and drink it in the morning. The iron, calcium and probiotics present in it are beneficial for both bones and stomach.
Yogurt or Greek Yogurt
