drink less water
In cold weather, we all feel very less thirsty, hence we often drink very less water. But doing this causes a lot of difficulty in losing weight. Actually, drinking less water slows down the metabolism and often we mistake thirst for hunger and start snacking more. Therefore, take care of your water intake even during cold days. You should keep drinking lukewarm water, herbal tea or green tea in this season.
skipping workouts
During cold days, we often do not feel like leaving the bed and hence we often skip workouts. When you are not very active, your metabolism slows down and fat gets stored more. Therefore, if you do not feel like going out in this season, then do your workout at home. You can do anything from dance to yoga etc.
drinking too much tea and coffee
It is true that during cold days we feel like eating or drinking something hot again and again and hence we drink tea or coffee again and again. However, doing so makes it difficult for you to lose weight. When you consume too much caffeine and sugar, it can cause dehydration and acidity. At the same time, your calorie count also increases. It would be better if you do not take more than two cups of tea or coffee a day. Have herbal tea or soup instead.
