GATE 2025 Registration, The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conclude the regular application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 today, October 3. According to a notice on the official website, the deadline for regular online registration without a late fee. has been extended until 11:59 PM tonight, following numerous requests from applicants.Eligible candidates can register for the GATE 2025 exam through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16. Female candidates, as well as those from the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disabilities (PwD) categories, are required to pay Rs 900 per test paper. All other candidates, including foreign nationals, must pay Rs 1,800 per test paper.
The registration process with a late fee will close on October 7. During this period, female candidates and those from SC, ST, and PwD categories will need to pay Rs 1,400 per test paper, while all other candidates, including foreign nationals, will be required to pay Rs 2,300 per test paper.

A valid GATE score can be utilized for admission to master’s programs and direct doctoral programs in various fields such as engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities. Additionally, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) GRID-INDIA will use the GATE 2025 results for recruitment in Electrical Engineering (EE) test papers. The Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering (BSBE) at IIT Kanpur will also admit Master of Technology (MTech) students through the GATE 2025 exam.
