Harmanpreet Singh and Co. are the favorites and also defending champions. They began their campaign with a 3-0 win vs China, followed by a 5-1 hammering of Japan, then an 8-1 win over Malaysia, and then finally a 3-1 victory against South Korea in their final fixture.
Meanwhile, Pakistan started off with a 2-2 draw against Malaysia, and South Korea, followed by a 2-1 win against Japan. They defeated China 5-1 to climb up to second spot.
