Fresh violence was reported in Manipur’s Jiribam district on September 7. The district administration said four militants and a civilian were killed in Jiribam. The civilian was killed inside his house, following which a gunfight broke out. This comes a day after attempts by locals to loot Manipur Rifles Hq armory and back-to-back rocket attacks in Bishnupur. Watch for more.
