Redmi on China’s microblogging platform Weibo disclosed It is said that the K80 Pro will get a triple-camera setup, which will have a 50MP Sony Light Huter 800 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This sensor is part of the Xiaomi 15 series, which was recently launched in China. The second will be a telephoto lens, which will be a 50MP sensor equipped with OIS support. The company says that the lens will provide 2.5x optical zoom. At the same time, the third camera will be a 32MP ultrawide sensor with 120-degree field-of-view.
The company is also teasing Xiaomi’s latest imaging software, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, present on the K80 Pro. The company has also shared two close-up telephoto shots, which show the performance of its telephoto lens.
At present, the company has not unveiled the front camera sensor, but leaks say that Redmi K80 Pro will include a 20-megapixel OV20B sensor.
Talking about other confirmed specifications of Redmi K80 Pro, the phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will come with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. It will have a 6000mAh battery. The phone will have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It will have Dragon Crystal Glass protection on both the front and back and the phone will be IP68/IP69 certified for dust and water protection. It will have 2K AMOLED display.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K80 is confirmed to have a slightly larger 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging. The phone has also been confirmed to work on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The company has said that the vanilla model will come with a triple rear camera system equipped with 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro lens and 50-megapixel main sensor.
